A little late ...
Dear readers, I know there's a lot of comments that was written some weeks ago when my health unfortunately was worse then ever, and yet to this day I haven't answer them. Now I've got comments asking for answers on these questions, but it feels weird going back such a long time, answering questions so far back. So please, If i've missed your questions etc, write them here again and I'll assure you that they will have an answer pronto! Thank you for understanding!

Thank you Derya! Very kind!
DeleteHi Stina, just wondered about your Kelly, would you recommend Box leather? Not afraid of scratches since you also have a little one;) It is 32 you have right? I wanna order one:) And also other question was about your camera, which one you use, you take so nice pics:) hugs Sue
ReplyDeleteHi dear Sue,
DeleteYes, true, my Kelly is a Box leather and it's sure much more sensitive then for example my Birkin. Alexis has already put a few marks on it with his little finger nails and it's not a bag for a every day life as a mother. But it's so elegant, chic, classic and much more "evening" then the more structured Kellys (which obviously is less sensitive, that's why i have it on my Birkin for example, because that's my every day bag).
My Kelly is normally used without Alexis, on a weekend with only M or when we go out. But it's much more sensitive like all bags with this sort of leather but yet so stunning!
yes, 32 cm is the size which works well both for day time and evening. The 35 cm is too big for evenings if you ask me and the 30 cm too small for every day.
My Camera is a Canon 50D with 4 different lenses which I change between.
Best,
stina
you and your blog are an inspiration! thanks for every single post, picture and thought you share! x mila
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading and commenting!
DeleteI know you are à fan of jan marini, i am myself using the bioglycolic face wash and lotion and really love them. BUT, I am still looking for THE eye cream that will somewhat make my eyes happy. I do not have many wrinkles yet (although they are popping up a bit more now that I am sleeping bad with baby 2), but I have massive dark circles. I am Mediterranean so, let's say these are very dark circles and I still haven't found a cream that would help or at least camouflage these. Would you recommend jan marini eye cream, or any other one that you feel is good?
ReplyDeleteThanks for a good blog btw!
Hi, good choice of the JM creams, but sadly I have to say that there's no cream in the world what will help you with the problems around your eyes. If there was, no women would have dark circles. Some say A-vitamin cream helps, until this day I haven't seen any miracles. The only thing that helps is a injection treatment from a very skilled treater called Tear through. I'm a specialist in this one particular and I inject Hyaluronic acid under the eyes, to fill out the lack of volume there. It's a magical treatment for the problem you have and the only one working.

The Prada-glasses you wear in almost every pic, what is the name or item number? Thx
ReplyDeleteHi, I still don't have them around so I'm not sure unfortunately.
DeleteBack from long vacation I am glad to find you back dear Stina. Your marvellous famili's life, pictures of any kind and your source of insiration for all your readers. XXX
ReplyDeleteHi Uta, so very pleasant to have you back!
DeleteVad det än var/är för åkomma så hoppas jag att du mår bättre nu! Tack för en trevlig, läsvärd och inspirationsrik blogg!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteA few superficial questions: What shampoo do you use? Youre hair looks great!!!!And any good tips on favourite lipstick, brand/colours? I think it's always difficult to find a shade that makes you look natural but gives you enough colour...
ReplyDeleteYSL rouge volupté in nude is really good, lovely silky feeling, enough color but you can hardly tell if its your natural beauty or lipstick. Hopeyou didn't mind that an other reader answered aswell, just wanted to share;)
DeleteThat naturally depends on the colour of your skin tone as well. Others need a paler nude in order to look natural while others need a little darker one.
DeleteThank you for the tip, will definately check it out:-)
DeleteHi, I love that you readers answer each other. That's perfect.
Delete1. I use Redken always and go between the blue moisture line and the green volume line. I alos use Redkens Root boost nr 3 in the roots before I blow dry my fringe.
2. For the moment I'm using Chanels lipstick in a very light pink shade nr 40 Rouge Coco and my favourite pencil from Esteé Lauder nr 3. They work perfect together and you can decide how much colour you want by how hard you paint the pencils colour.

Your top 5 tips when it comes to clean out your closet?
ReplyDeleteHi!
Delete1. First rule. One in one out.
2. Everything you haven't used in 6 month, but it in a box and take it to a cellar and forget them.
3. Take that box after one year and if it's something you've really missed, keep it, if not, give it away or sell it.
4. Honestly revaluate each piece. Is that pink cardigan really you anymore? Maybe it worked when you were 36 years old, but maybe not any longer. Be hard on yourself and maybe use a girl friend with excellent style and ask here for a serious view.
5. Have a style icon or someone you admire for their style. When in doubt, just picture that person infront of you and ask " would she really use this...?" If not. Take it away.
Good Luck!
Stina
Thank you dear Stina for taking the time to give your tips, belive me a big help to my crazy wardrobe:-)

My pleasure, sorry for the poor spelling. Was sort in a rush and didn't correct. And i meant 26 years old, not 36 years.

Hej! Jag undrar om din tro inom kabbalah fortfarande finns? På vilket sätt är du "aktiv"? Vad inspirerar dig? Kram/Magdalena
ReplyDeleteHi Magdalena
DeleteSince I came here to Zürich, my Kabbalah meetings and dinners haven't been active at all and since I became a mother I hardly have time to practise at all which I truly lack. I need this sort of spiritual presence in my life and find myself empty when not. But as an answer, no, unfortunately not.

du är så underbar. som till och med svarar på frågor. you are that kind of women, that makes other women want to be you:)
ReplyDeleteThat's so kind of you to say, but I think that's the least i can do. Unfortunately I have a toddler at home who hates when I'm on my iphone or infornt of the computer, so therefor it often takes a couple of days to get your answer, but mostly they will be there in the end.

Feel better! =) Anette//Oslo
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Kram
ReplyDeleteHi Åsa,
DeleteThank you! Read the answer above about that.
The video thing I've thought about. But how, where and what tool should I use? Any suggestion on a easy used video link, page?
Best,
stina

Why do you need a nanny when you´re not working?
ReplyDeleteYou can obviously not be a stay at home mother with that sort of question. But to answer it correctly: To have some sort of freedom left and sometimes be more then just a mother wearing black tights at home and actually be a glimpse of what I was before.
DeleteI've been working hard my whole life and had a great full time career - but nothing is as hard as being a mother, and a stay at home mother for the moment. It's the toughest job on the planet, 24/7, no rest. The best job but I've never worked as hard in my life and never been so tired either. That's why I have a nanny a couple of hours per week.
Best,
stina
Mailade.
