Country side air

What a nightmare week. Both me and Leon were sick and just when I started to get better and saw the light in my tunnel - I got the worst migraine attac on Friday morning. Still to this minute I'm not free from the pain.
But my man came back home to Stockholm and took me, without the kids, out for a nice country side lunch in one of our favourite castles. He assured me some fresh air would do me good and even though I was quite negative in my whole spirit (hate the cold Swedish weather etc etc), it was so nice to have some alone time with him.

  1. I feel your pain!! Been sick all week with my also sick 17 month old son, not fun at all. Staying at home all day all week and I've been having cabin fever, jesus!

Still sick but no time to relax since my masters thesis is due in a month....

Sometimes you're allowed to complain, right?

    Hope you're feeling better!

  2. Dear Stina, how I understand your pain and how it's difficult to manage that with little children alone. Happily your man was there for 2 days but sometimes with all my pains, without mine aside me, I could not resist........

  4. Hey Stina! Long time indeed! Sorry for the silence.
Nordic fresh air , whenever it is sunny outside, is always a boost for the moral and the mind.BTW, when are you guys heading southern Europe again???
Last but not least, returning to your blog is realizing that your blog is such a treat of aestheticism and authenticity.THANK YOU.Cath

  5. One bad thing comes often with another…Feel with you dear Stina.
I truly love cold air when getting a migraine attac. My doctor gave me the advice to change my eating habits (less sugar, more fresh fruit&veggies, drink a lot of water, less alcohol;( ) but honestly, ok, it took some time but my attacs are slowly disappearing. I know that a lot of people want to give good advice for me it worked, but it was a long way till i discovered what was the activator.
    Hugs,
    Lena

  6. I know, that's a long known education where you should eat and live as a diabetic. This one was probably hormonal though.
